IDR is seeking a SAP Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lawrenceville, GA. This role focuses on managing and maintaining SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and security of the infrastructure.
Position Overview for the SAP Systems Administrator:
- Manage the technical setup and ongoing maintenance of SAP systems, including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee connectivity, database administration, SSL certificate implementation, and network management.
- Provide MS failover cluster high availability support.
- Work with UNIX (AIX), Linux (Red Hat), and Windows operating systems to optimize SAP landscape performance.
- Support SAP system upgrades, patching, and system health checks to ensure system reliability.
Requirements for the SAP Systems Administrator:
- SAP Certified (Basis or NetWeaver) with Oracle DB experience
- 5+ years of SAP Basis administration experience (installations, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
- Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with database management systems supporting SAP systems
- Ability to pass a public safety background check including criminal histories and fingerprinting
