Position Overview for the Patient Access Representative:
Our client is seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to join their team and contribute to ensuring a smooth patient registration and scheduling process. As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll play a key role in greeting patients, completing registrations, verifying insurance, and collecting financial information to ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Required Skills for the Patient Access Representative:
0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility setting.

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients professionally.

Basic typing skills with a minimum of 35 words per minute.

Experience with PC/CRT/printer usage and ability to manage patient information.

Familiarity with insurance verification and understanding of basic medical terminology.

Knowledge of hospital financial policies, patient liability collection techniques, and cash reconciliation procedures is a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
