Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr. SQL Database Engineer:
- Provide subject matter expertise for the design, configuration, support, and maintenance of SQL platforms
- Identify enhancements to product architecture focusing on reliability, performance, and availability
- Monitor and manage environment health, functionality, and availability related to databases and associated processes
- Adhere to technical standards and procedures to resolve enterprise database issues and ensure optimal application performance
- Regularly review alerts, logs, and system performance

Required Skills for Sr. SQL Database Engineer:
- 3+ years of Database Engineering experience
- 1+ year as a lead SQL DBA on moderate to large projects
- Experience with Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- ETL process and technology experience using Azure Data Factory
- Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and system optimization
