Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Coding Educator (Pro Fee):

Lead and deliver focused coding education in ASC, surgery, and outpatient settings. Conduct comprehensive chart reviews and coding accuracy audits. Present findings and provide guidance directly to physicians and coding teams. Identify trends and documentation gaps to develop targeted education plans. Support initiatives for documentation improvement and audit readiness.

Required Skills for Coding Educator (Pro Fee):

Active coding certifications: CPC (AAPC) or CCS/CCS-P (AHIMA). Strong experience in Pro Fee environments, including education and auditing. Excellent communication skills for presenting to clinicians and driving coding standards. Reside within the client's geographic footprint in California, with the ability to travel locally. Willingness to transition to a permanent role after a 13-week assignment.
